After seemingly teasing a Diablo game for Nintendo Switch with a cryptic tweet back in February, it looks as though Blizzard really does have plans to bring the loot-fest hack and slash game to Nintendo's newest handheld.

Forbes acidentally went live with their announcement page a day early and pulled it down when the mistake was noticed, but the cat is out of the bag. The Diablo III Eternal Collection on Switch will include the original game, Reaper of Souls expansion, Rise of the Necromancer pack, and every single update for the game so far.
As Nintendo is fond of doing tie-ins with other games like Monster Hunter Unlimited, there's a special item in the Switch version that makes players look like Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda series.
Multiplayer is supported in four-player local co-op matches on the same machine or four separate Switch consoles. There's also a fully online component and a mixture of local and online play for owners of the game. It will retail for $59.99 and is expected to debut later this year.
