Nintendo's delayed Direct presentation hasn't stopped a handful of game companies from going ahead with their announcements. Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy XV is headed to the Nintendo Switch as Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition. This version was previously available on iOS and Android devices.

The game is already available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and launched with a 40% discount until September 13. Reports indicate that the Nintendo Switch version of the game will feature the same offer as soon as it is available on the console. The game is regularly priced at $29.99 but with the discount, the price drops to $17.99.

Will you be picking this up when it launches on Nintendo Switch? Hopefully we'll find out the release date when Nintendo airs its Direct presentation.
