Deep Silver announced today that it will bring Saints Row: The Third to Nintendo Switch. The game debuted back in 2011 for last-gen consoles and it's not even the most recent game in the series. No release window was provided for the port other than to say its coming, so perhaps we'll learn more as Gamescom continues.

Deep Silver may have run into limitations with the Switch when attempting to port Saints Row 4, which would explain why they decided to go back a game for the Switch. Still, there's no Grand Theft Auto to compete with on Switch, so this should be a prime opportunity for the publisher.
