Today one of the artists of Skullgirls tweeted out a picture of the game running on Nintendo Switch to confirm that the system would be receiving the game. Skullgirls is a critically acclaimed indie fighting game that was successfully funded via Kickstarter and has since been ported to several consoles and platforms, including mobile. It has been confirmed that the version that will be available on the Switch is based on the current console port and not the mobile port, which was for the PS Vita.

The developers haven't provided a release date for the title yet, but Pocket Rumble fans who have been waiting for a great fighting game should look forward to this one. Fans who are serious about this one may want to invest in a fight stick, as the Skullgirls competitive scene has a very close following.
