Spanish Nintendo outlet Nintenderos sat down with Team Meat co-founder Tommy Refenes to discuss the upcoming release of Super Meat Boy Forever on the Nintendo Switch. When asked about the Forever moniker attached to the end of this sequel, Refenes says the levels are procedurally generated so fans could play the game forever. As the game progresses, the platforming difficulty increases.

Refenes also confirmed that the PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game are identical and there are no special features between platforms. The game runs at 1080p while docked and 720p while in handheld mode. Refenes was on hand at PAX West this past weekend showcasing the game, which is scheduled for release sometime this year.
